Choreographer, Charlotte Spencer is holding a residency at Coachwerks, Brighton to start work on her new project, 'Notions of Journeying'. As part of the residency she is opening up morning company class to dance practitioners, students and recent graduates. Two of her dancers will be leading morning class and are experienced international teachers: Elena Giannotti and Rohanna Eade.

Elena Giannotti 26th - 29th January
Elena teaches a class which combines experiential anatomy, contemporary dance release techniques and improvisation.
Italian born Elena, lives and works in Ireland as an independent artist. Since 2002 she has been dancing for British choreographer Rosemary Butcher. From 2006 to 2008 she also worked for Daghdha Dance Company in Ireland. Over the last six years she has been focusing in dance research and improvisation, recently promoting her latest project Body of Osiris. As an Improviser she has performed in Ireland, Italy, Germany, Mexico, and New York. She has taught at Dance House, Dublin, Laban Centre, CNDC (France), Berlin University of the Arts, Tanzkiosk Festival Hamburg, as well as in Mexico, Japan, Italy and Austria.

Rohanna Eade 1st - 5th February
Rohanna's class will focus on using breath and core strength to support dynamic and fluid sequences. Expect to work quickly and to sweat!
Rohanna Trained at the London Contemporary Dance School. Most recently a member of Retina Dance Company, she has also taken part in the Bank Project with Siobhan Davies Dance Company and danced for Sarah Fahie in The Place Prize 2006. She is the artistic Director of Devon Youth Dance Company and teaches professional morning class regularly at Greenwich Dance Agency and throughout the UK.
