Mags organised a big event as part of her community caff project for people to sell their own work with donations for the space as commission. Clare gave a printing workshop, we brought out the badge making machine and had a fantastic, lively day making things, chatting and drinking tea.

21.11.09 Community Caff + Bread Oven Update!
Really busy one last Saturday. Alex got a good crew together to help him out with the bread oven & lots of people came to the Caff & brought tasty things to share. Alex wrote us an email which said

Stray Signals 01
The first Stray Signals took place in front of the still-to-be-finished bread oven. As the year progresses, so will the warmth available to performers! The night is a half-curated, half-open big mix up of poetry, performance, music, food and everything inbetween.

Eva Recacha: Residency, Workshop and Performance
Eva Recacha will be on a creative residence at Coachwerks in December 09, supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. This includes the development and performance of Eva's new piece Story Lines and a workshop. The workshop will draw on the explorations and findings of the company’s work during this residency. It is an opportunity to access the company’s creative processes and work in a professional setting. The course is practical and attendants should be willing to improvise with both movement and text, to set materials, perform, and have fun!
