Stray Signals no. 8

This month's optional theme/activity is 'from memory'. We'd like the majority of works performed to be committed to memory rather than read from the page. It could be a story, poem, a joke, a personal anecdote, or whatever you can remember...

Stray Signals is a monthly poetry, storytelling and performance event aiming to provide a platform for creatives to showcase experimental new works in any format or media. Half curated/half open programme, the focus is on fostering an atmosphere for creating original material, having fun, and testing things out. We also run various workshops in art and creative writing. See www.straysignals.co.uk/ for more information.

Hallowe'en at Ghostwerks 2009

This year saw: stories, games, poetry, dancing, squash soup, rowdy kids, moments of hilarity & moments of extreme horror!

Terrible tales were read in the purpose built "den"

Followed by much merriment with doughnuts on strings & bobbing for apples.
