WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- You live/work in Brighton
- Your name or company’s name
- The title of your developing piece (if you have one)
- Duration of your developing piece (from 8 to 20 mins). Please give a fair estimate.
- A description of your work for this event.
- What are you experimenting with in your piece?
- What are you working with? (here are some suggestions: particular ways of working and developing material, themes, props, techniques… alter or add to these)
- What sort of performance practice do you do?
WHAT YOU NEED FROM US

- Applications first come first served. Deadline for sending applications: 28th February 2010.
- Coachwerks will be open for the artists from 6pm on the 13th March.
- They’ll have one hour to get a feel for the space, find a convenient area in the space to show their work-in-progress and run it through, warm up etc.
- We’ll open for the public at 6.45pm.
- The work will be shown between 7pm and 9pm approx.
- There’ll be a master of ceremonies to introduce the artists and their work.
- From 9 until 10pm the audience members who wish to provide artists with feedback will do so.
- Artists will have the opportunity to ask particular questions about their work to audience members and to have a focused, constructive informal dialogue.
- Please think at least of two questions.
- This stage of the night will be informally managed and facilitated by one of our team.
- A music stereo is available for those using sound.
- Because of time constraints we won’t be able to deal with sophisticated or time-consuming technical requirements.
