In this total art experience, there will be performances from choreographers Charlotte Spencer, and Eva Recacha. Both artists held residencies at Coachwerks over the winter months, and here are the works that resulted...
So the programme will be:
‘A Still Return’ solo performance by Charlotte Spencer. Music by Tom Spencer
A meditative solo that responds to the markings of time in the natural world
‘Mountain Dialogues’ Choreography Charlotte Spencer. Dancers, Jennifer-Lynn Crawford, Rohanna Eade and Amy Bell. Music Tom Spencer
A field of presence, this is just a glimpse into the continuous process of journeying.
‘Story Lines’ choreography Eva Recacha. Dancers Antonio de la Fe, Lola Maury
Two characters explore different relationships between movement and words, creating a surreal blend of fiction and the ordinary as they try to discover what’s next.
Alongside Mountain Dialogues runs an art exhibition Journey Maps realised in collaboration with artist Clare McEwan. (yes the work will be for sale!)
Following the dance performances will be food, frolicks and live music from Aidan Shepherd (Accordian) and Paul Kahawatte (guitar) and Tom Spencer of the folk(ish), jazzy(ish), soulful type.

A summer sunday evening to look forward to...
Both Charlotte and Eva have been generously supported by Arts Council England and Coachwerks. Charlotte has also been supported by a Choreographic Bursary Award from Dance Ireland, Jerwood Space and South East Dance.
